NUCLEOCOUNTER - SP-100 - Reagent Solution
Reagent S100 is used to treat the sperm cell sample prior to counting the total number of sperm cells in ejaculates or other sperm cells suspensions.
Addition of the Reagent S100 lysis buffer has two purposes: 1) To disrupt the plasma membrane, rendering the perm cell nuclei susceptible to staining with propidium iodide; 2) To dilute the sample before counting.
