Sperm Filter is a synthetic membrane filter with micropores allowing the passage of seminal plasma and bacteria, retaining only sperm cells.
As an innovation, the filter eliminates the need for a centrifuge and can be used routinely in cases where it would be used.
Furthermore, the filtration was demonstrated to be less traumatic and harmful to sperm when compared to conventional centrifugation since the sperm passes passively through the filter.
The Sperm Filter kit consists of a 150mm Petri Dish and a Sperm Filter.
