Tube Protectors, Sheath Protectors and Sani-Shield Protectors are made of rigid PVC plastic. Their purpose is to aid in the protection of insemination sheaths and insemination tubes as they pass through the vaginal canal to prevent the transfer of contaminants nto the uterus. Sheath protectors are designed with a flared opening so they are easy to hold onto as the tube or sheath pushes through the perforated tip at the anterior end.
Tube Protectors - The tube protectors are available in 12" or 15" lengths. All are packaged 25 per pack. Non-Sterile. Priced per piece.
Sheath Protectors - The sheath protector is 12" (300mm) in length and has a slightly smaller outside diameter (O.D.) than the tube protector. Priced per piece.
Sani-Shield Protectors™ - Constructed just as the sheath protectors are, but all are individually wrapped and gamma irradiated. A slim yet rigid design to aid in the protection of insemination sheaths and insemination tubes. Available in either large or small diameter and two tip configurations (Turret Tip- which is a circular opening in the end for the sheath to pass through) or (X-Tip - which is a X shaped perforation for the sheath to pass through). Satin Jacket™ Sheath Covers - Available in 18" or 21" sizes, these tubular bags are designed to slip over guns/sheath assemblies to keep them clean as they pass through the vaginal canal. Perforated tips and a perforated slit for looping a finger through to hold in place. These covers are manufactured of an ultra-soft 'satin-feeling' material and come in a handy dispenser box. The 21" Satin Jacket™ covers are packaged 80 per roll, the 18" lengths are packaged 100 per roll. Priced per Roll.
