Equi-Flex™ Standard - (#385500) insemination tubes are a 30" flexible deep-horn tube with attached luer-slip syringe adapter. These tubes are slender and flexible enough to make turns within the mare's reproductive tract but rigid enough that they don't require a stylet for support. The tip of the Equi-Flex™ Standard has side orifice openings.
Equi-Flex Eze™ - (#385520) insemination tubes are one of the most popular options. Like the Equi-Flex standard, it utilizes a slender, flexible tube with syringe adapter. What makes it unique is the slightly enlarged bulb-shaped tip. This makes the tip easily detectable while guiding during the insertion process.
30" Infusion Tube w/ Adapter - (#386710) is the same style as our other insemination/infusion tube used for conventional insemination or infusion, just in a longer version.
Equine IUI Pipettes w/ Inner Catheter are deep horn infusion tubes available in multiple length options. These utilize a slim, low-volume inner catheter with syringe adapter that seats at the tip. This style is for those desiring to perform a single application with pooled, or full-volume semen.
Equine IUI Pipettes utilize the same outer tube but is for use with 1/2cc semen straws. A thin stainless steel stylet is used to plunge the semen from the straws inserted into the outer tube which seat into the tip. The stylet has a unique barbed ridge, so upon plunging the contenst, the stylet retracts the expended straw and another straw ( or straws) can be inserted into the tube to complete the insemination process without having to remove the outer tube.
For ease in application, the Large Animal Speculum can come in handy at 18" in length (#635990). This can be washed and sanitized. The acrylic material is excellent for refracting a light source within so you can see what you are doing.
