Boar Semen Storage Units - All of our compressor-style Swine Semen Storage Units utilize a temperature control unit that is designed to maintain a consistent +/- 1 C of a preset 17 C (62.6 F), which is an ideal boar semen storage temperature. The unit will turn on the heating element at 16 C (60.8 F) and when needed cooling unit will engage at 18 C (64.4 F).
Available in 4 sizes: 1.7 cu.ft., 4.4 cu.ft., 11 cu.ft. and 17 cu.ft.
Shipping Note: 11 cu.ft. and 17 cu.ft. units ship by freight only, if you require a truck with a lift gate additional fees may apply.
Note: The gases given off by livestock manure can damage electrical and HVAC controls and tubing and shorten the operating life of these components. Any compressor (refrigerator-style) semen storage unit should never be placed in a location (barn, breezeway, hallway) where the air has higher concentrations of gases from manure.
